Christmas Giveaway

It's time for our Christmas giveaway and this year we have come up with a humdinger!

We are giving one lucky knitter or crocheter the chance to win the yarn and pattern for each one of the MALs we ran this year every day for 10 days, starting on 10th December.  That's 10 prizes and a whopping 94 balls of yarn.

In January we kicked off the year with Annaboo’s House and Sarah Shrimpton’s crochet Kosetsu shrug.

For February it was Emily Littlefair’s turn from The Loopy Stitch with her Floral Dreams blanket crocheted using 16 balls of Special DK.

In March we delighted in making Lucia Dunn’s Peerie Blooms blanket from Lucia’s Fig Tree.  Your prize will be 17 balls of Special Aran to crochet your own.

For April you voted to make our gorgeous knitted dinosaur jacket in Bambino.

Justina from Polly Plum designed the Prismatic blanket for our May Make Along – crocheted in a riot of colour using 10 balls of Special DK.

In July Helen Kurtz from Josie Kitten brought us not just one but two knitted sock patterns, called Give and Take.

Julia Marsh from Hand Knitted Things re-imagined her Special Stripy Blanket knitted in new shades of Special Chunky in 7 lovely shades in August.

Jane Crowfoot’s Fruit Garden CAL was a huge success and in September she designed two cushions, called Kelmscott and Melsetter using some of the Fruit Garden crochet motifs especially for our Make Along group. You can win the 13 balls of Life and Batik needed to make the Kelmscott cushion.

Our design team created a special knitted advent calendar, which launched in October in new yarn Highland Heathers – such fun to make.

Our last Make Along of the year was by Heather Leal from The Patchwork Heart.  Once again in Highland Heathers, Heather created a number of colour recipes and a tutorial to help you make her crocheted Granny Shawl.  You could win the yarn for her Highlands and Islands recipe.
