Squeeze Me

Following the trend for home comforts and the popularity of touchy-feely yarns, Stylecraft has introduced Squeeze Me, a luxurious chenille yarn which is velvety soft and irresistibly tactile – it just begs to be squeezed and cuddled. There are 20 exquisite colours giving crocheters a huge choice for the most ambitious colour work project. The shades ranging from serene neutrals and soothing pastels to lively and energetic brights.

Composition: 100% polyester

Ball Size: 100g

Meterage: 200m, 218y

Wash & Care: Machine wash at 30, cool tumble dry, cool iron, may be dry cleaned.


You will need: A pair of 3.25mm (UK 10 - USA 3) knitting needles, a pair of 4mm (UK 8 - USA 6) knitting needles, stitch markers, stitch holders. For Long Cardigan: 3 buttons (1.5cm, ½in diameter). For Short Cardigan: 2 buttons (1.5cm, ½in diameter). Buttons- optional.

Cast off 6[6:7:7:7:10] sts at beg of next 2 rows. 39[41:45:47:51:47] sts.

Work 22[30:30:30:22:38] rows, dec 1 st at each end of next row and every foll 4th row 5[7:7:7:5:9] times. 27 [25:29:31:39:27] sts.

Work 10[8:12:14:22:10] rows, dec 1 st at each end of next row and every foll rs row 4[3:5:6:10:4] times. 17[17:17:17:17:17] sts.
Cast off rem sts loosely.
