As we get closer to the end of the year, we wanted to take a fond look at what 2019 has meant to Stylecraft in our Purl Anniversary year.
Thirty years is quite an achievement for any business, and we wanted to take the celebration to our customers across the country.

We have had some fantastic giveaways to win including yarn, patterns and our special Purl Anniversary stitch markers. The bumper final one took place at the end of November with 30 balls of Stylecraft yarn as the main prize.

We launched a special collection of patterns – an extra collection featuring Bellissima and Bellissima Chunky – some from our archives.
The highlight of the year was our Purl Anniversary party held at our mill in July. Guests were chosen in a prize draw to win money-can’t-buy tickets to this special celebration.

We cleared a 50-metre length of our warehouse and decorated it with banners, displays of new yarns and garments, and pompoms. Five of our lovely Blogstars had put up amazing arrangements of their work and also ran workshops

Our party began with a game of Special DK bingo. Lucy from Attic 24 and Emma Varnam were our celebrity callers and the room was hushed as people furiously dabbed on their bingo cards.

We had a wall of little jumpers from the Special DK palette arranged in a display but there were 15 colours not included. Our guests were encouraged to see if they could spot the missing shades to win a mystery prize.

After a lovely Prosecco lunch, we all settled down to one of the afternoon’s workshops fuelled by a special birthday cake.
What a memorable year – thank you being a part of it.
