We are delighted to share our second launch for spring and summer with you. There are two new yarns and loads of patterns for you to feast your eyes on.
Monet
Taking an impressionist palette as its inspiration, Monet is a lovely blend of harmonious colours that give a summery look to this painterly effect yarn. The patterns have a fun 70s vibe with interesting sleeve shapes, textures and lace. The great thing about these patterns is they show you the design in this great new yarn as well as another option in a yarn we know you all love – Jeanie.
Moonbeam
Moonbeam is a gorgeous yarn with a mix of matt and shine that has the most fantastic drape to it, in a palette of muted pastels. Because this is such a special yarn, we have tried to use it in really interesting ways to give each garment a truly unique look. Every time the shine element of the yarn appears, the patterns use purl bars or double wrapping to give a devoré effect which adds to the fluid feel of each design. Super easy to do and it creates a stunning effect.
Linen Drape
Linen Drape was launch in last year and was a huge hit with knitters and crocheters alike. This season sees 4 new saturated colours with a folkloric feel to them added to the palette – Corn, Pewter, Egg Plant and Denim. The new shades are supported by a capsule collection made up exclusively of crochet garments, including a stunning granny square jumper and jacket combo.
Bellissima
The team at Stylecraft are always looking for new talent and have been following the work of Claudine Pooley aka @iron_lamb for a while, so we were delighted when she agreed to design two exclusive patterns for us, featuring Bellissima. The relaxed fit of the jumper and the colour combinations in the scarf are bang on trend this season.
Classique Cotton DK
Classique Cotton’s already comes in a range of thirty shades, but now we have added six new, rich, pastel colours called Apricot, Vintage Pink, Sage, Blue Grey, Smoked Grape and Wheat. It’s amazing how well these colours work with the rest of the palette, whether you fancy a spot of Fair Isle or want to crochet motifs.
All of these yarns and patterns are now available in your local yarn shop or at your favourite online retailer.
