Many of you will already be well into your Christmas gift making with a pile of goodies ready to be wrapped.  But if you haven't already started, don’t worry, there is still time, and we have some handy tips for you.

First of all, make sure the person you are knitting or crocheting for really likes handmade items. It can be so disappointing if the project you have lovingly crafted is not valued, and it can save you a lot of time by shortening your list of festive makes.

Choose projects that aren't too large so that you aren't under pressure. At this time of year you really don't need the stress.

Your gift doesn't have to be big to show your love. Pick yarns that are a pleasure to work with and are among your favourites. After all you want to enjoy your making, don’t you?

If you are lacking inspiration we have chosen some of our favourite smaller projects that we have enjoyed making.
