Today we are launching a new campaign to celebrate crafters that use their skills to make a difference. 

The last two years have taught us so much about the value of community and helping other people. All over the country there are crafters making for charities to help them raise funds or awareness. They are tirelessly putting their needles and hooks to good use and we want to say thank you. 

Each month we will be asking you to nominate one of these Charity Champions. It could be someone who has made a huge number of items, someone who gives their free time to organise a charity making group, or someone who teaches knitting or crochet to vulnerable people. We want you to share their story with us.

We will then choose a shortlist of three people and put it to a public vote. The winning Charity Champion will receive two packs of special DK in their choice of colours.

So, get your thinking caps on and keep an eye on our social media over the next couple of weeks.
